There are many types of defense gear available, and as more sets of gear come out almost weekly new defense sets are needed. There are defense gear sets for Ranged, sets for Infantry, etc.
But the most effective set is a mixed set that can handle a mixed attack force in mass. The training section of our forum is there to showcase the different types of gear sets, both attack and defense.
I can say without fear of rebuff that in any good mixed defense gear set you should find 2 Kunai, Not 1 and not 3 but 2! 1 is not enough and at 3 the gains are not that great, any number of accessories will do a better job, but 2 Kunai will serve you very well!!!
I will be populating the threads with information on all types of gear and any items that anyone has had either great luck with or items that were disasters should be posted in here. I know that I have built and tried more bad sets than truly effective sets.
If you are going to be defending during a kvk it is good to have a set for each troop type along with a mixed set. This way if you get attacked by a missile man you can chop his hand off when he thinks he is going into the cookie jar for a second grab, and comes back with a stump. lol.
